For several years, the city of Frankfort and the people of Clinton County have been on our hearts. We’ve watched families faithfully drive from Frankfort each week to be part of Freedom, and each year we’ve seen many from that community show up for Serve Day. As we prayed about what our role could be in that area, an unexpected opportunity came our way.

Several months ago, we learned of a church in Frankfort that was preparing to close at the end of 2025. We simply asked to stay connected. Then, in the fall of 2025, they reached out again with an incredible offer: to gift their church home, a place that has faithfully served the community for over 100 years, to Freedom Church. After visiting the property, seeking wise counsel from our staff and elders, and spending intentional time in prayer, we believe the Lord is leading us to steward this generous gift.

While we don’t yet know every detail of what lies ahead, we are stepping forward in faith, trusting that God has big plans and will guide every step of the way. We invite you to pray with us as we walk through this door and discern how this building can be used to partner with other churches and reach the people of Frankfort with the hope of Jesus.
